March, 2010 – The 17th International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA-AISM) Conference takes place at the end of March (21-27) in Cape Town, South Africa. This year Transas will again participate in this important event in the VTS calendar.

February 2010 – The Gibraltar Port Authority (GPA) initiation to renew its VTS system developed into mutually beneficial agreement with Transas to facilitate the supply, development and commissioning of a VTS system including all necessary hardware, software, sensors, communication systems, training and support.
02.02.2010| Transas China supplies a vessel traffic system to China Ministry of Transportation
February, 2010, China –Transas China and The Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China signed contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of a Navi-Monitor system. This is the first VTS Transas sold in mainland China and also means a significant step to further progress in China shore base system market.

November 2009 – Brand-new Transas simulators installed this year in National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) Training Complex in Tacloban City, Philippines were introduced to public at large. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Republic of the Philippines.

November 2009. Norwegian Maritime Directorate (NMD) has confirmed Transas Electronic Logbook as equivalent to the paper version for use onboard of ships registered in NOR and NIS Norwegian Ship Registers.

Mola di Bari (Italy), October 2009 –THESI Consulting, a training centre in Mola di Bari, South Italy, Adriatic sea coast, has recently inaugurated a new simulator by Transas. THESI Consulting has for many years been involved in navigation training of GMDSS radio operators and first aid. 
21.10.2009| ANZAC Frigate Simulator for the Royal New Zealand Navy
October 2009 – New Zealand. In October Transas Marine Pacific Pte Ltd. together with its partner Electronic Navigation Ltd. completed second phase of the project to supply Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) Engineering School with sophisticated simulator suite. For this project, the existing complex was extended with the secondary Instructor Room, ANZAC frigate machinery control room (MCR) and Main Power System (MPS) room.

September 2009 – Transas Navi-Radar 4000 MFD v.2.00.010 (MNS29) has gone through certification process by QinetiQ and received Type approval in conformity with a new standard IEC 62388.
17.09.2009| Transas completes the modernization of Lithuanian GMDSS
September 2009 – Klaipeda (Lithuania). ). Transas Scandinavia AB, presented by Transas Baltic SIA, together with Transas Technologies and local partner Belam-Riga SIA has recently finalized modernization of Maritime Rescue Control Center (MRCC) Klaipeda including Lithuanian part of GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System).
31.08.2009| KASI Malaysia extends its R&D capabilities with a brand new simulator from Transas
August 2009 – Malaysia. Transas Marine Pacific has been awarded a contract by KASI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a marine survey, inspection and consulting service provider to deliver a multifunctional simulator Navi-Trainer Professional 5000 which will be focused on R&D applications.
30.07.2009| AMC Search assists safety of navigation with the new Transas VTS simulator
July 2009 – VTS simulator at AMC Search has proved itself in action. From May 25 to June 6 AMC Search conducted a VTS Operator course on a recently commissioned Transas VTS simulator.
