June, 2010. Denmark – Holding most of ECDIS market in Denmark, Transas continues to strengthen its positions in Scandinavan region. M/V SIA, a state-of-the-art RoRo supply vessel, was equipped with the latest Transas Integrated Bridge Solution TIBS 4000 Multifunction Display.
Transas sophisticated Bridge solution, delivered to the vessel, is designed in full compliance with DNV Naut-OSV requirements and combines main navigational aids to form a single information environment for navigator.
The scope of supply includes 2 x Navi-Radar 4000 MFD Chart Radar (X band); Navi-Sailor 4000 Dual ECDIS Multifunction Display; complete Sailor GMDSS package; SSAS; echo sounder; 2 x DGPS units; AIS; LRIT; Log unit; Navtex unit; Multiple TFT-monitors on for/aft bridge and bridge wing areas; Navis DP2 system. All systems were supplied and commisioned by Transas Marine.
M/v SIA is also supplied with the Transas Admiralty Data Service (TADS) which incorporates official ENCs and chart updates and enables her to operate completely paperless.
Equipped with innovative Bridge solution, M/V SIA meets the latest IMO carriage requirements for ECDIS which leads CT Offshore into the new shipping era.

CT Offshore is a privately owned Danish offshore company. Specializing in offshore wind and sub-sea cable services, the company operates a fleet of cable lay vessels and trenchers. Previously, Transas supplied an ECDIS for M/V Line and DP system for M/V NICO. Current contract is an evidence of a continuing partnership between Transas and CT Offshore.
