VTS operator workstations in any configuration from small local stations to the ramified modern VTS systems with several local and regional stations for the control of radar systems, video, AIS surveillance, communication systems, recording, database maintenance and documenting.

PISCES2 (Potential Incident Simulation, Control and Evaluation System)

Simulators for practicing emergency response procedures. A realistic simulation of an oil spill and the human response is provided via mathematical modelling of an oil spill interacting with a variety of clean-up measures.

The main operator station incorporated in Transas network simulators provides the instructor with all the necessary tools for the efficient preparation, editing, conduct, monitoring and assessment of training exercises.

All the aforementioned modules (navigation bridges, helicopters, VTS, crisis management centres) are combined in a single virtual space. This allows training to be conducted at any level, from organizing interaction between the ships and VTS network, to ensuring the safety of navigation in complicated areas under adverse shipping conditions, and to the joint search and rescue operation exercises and emergency response training, including oil pollution, chemical contamination, fires and terrorist acts.
